Pier 1 Crap Battle

To launch Pier 1’s “One Big Sale and Clearance” Event , we created a memorable social event. Using Instagram Story polls feature, we got people to send in their crappiest home goods, then we reposted them and let the world decide whose crap was the crappiest. Those who had the creme-de-le-crap (voted on by the people) were rewarded with P1 gift cards to replace their crap with something new!

The 3 week battle-royal exceeded our estimated engagements by over 1000% making it one of Pier 1’s most successful social activations to date. Our team of producers managed every detail of the process making the posting and rewarding process painless for our client.
